Have you struggled in silence wondering what is wrong with me? Why do I feel this way? Why are my interpersonal relationships failing? Have you experienced trauma as a child, adolescent, or adult. The trauma you've experienced may be creeping up in your present life such as trouble sleeping, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, hypervigilance, feeling stuck, or bonding with others with similar trauma histories. You may be struggling with the feelings of loneliness, unmotivation, and/or sadness. You could be struggling with people pleasing, putting others first, or staying in unhealthy relationships. I am passionate about providing therapy to adults who need help navigating trauma, depression, codependency, life transitions/stressors, and unhealthy behavior patterns. I utilize a person centered approach. I also pull from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, postive psychology, eclectic, but most importantly I use the modality that benefits the clients needs. I am personable, genuine, and laid back. I believe therapy should be open and honest. After the death of my sister, I spent time in therapy so I understand therapy from both the client and therapist perceptive. Therapy does suck at times as it brings up unresolved emotions, however, the return on your investment is a life time of tools for emotional freedom.
